well its been a while now....I dont remember where we were there. We had a great hop show at 83 ...and I was in talks with the show in you know where...cn..for now...shhh...have 7 artist now and then I was talking to CCC to maybe put in some of there's ...I had three sales for 50 dollars in one day at the last hop... I went to Cincinnati to drop off stuff for the open call for ...this was last week. I went in and they were like Didn't you get the email? I was like what email well I check it later and I got one that night so yeah it was that day ...but they were like you sold two of the three pieces...5" x 5" blocks ...so I was like that rocks... then I dropped of more work and then went all the way back home and later that night I had the shows at 83 and at Travonna coffee with CCC which was really great to have two this time. It was problematic in a way cause I felt bad cause I was like well I should be over at the CCC show cause I have been to three weeks of meeting and felt bad that I wasn't going to be there the whole night. I went to 83 first just to pop in cause I was going to park there on Starr street its close to the gallery and is good to park on. Since I knew I would be at 83 most the night I parked on that street. Then popped in and found Geoff and every one very happy and it was nice ...then Geoff said he had sold the smaller piece that I had in the show... I had a larger 4' x 6' piece probably my best abstract work that I have ever done in oils. Then the smaller one was one of the first conflicted color acrylic pieces that I had done and it sold. I had put it in for 175 because it was one of the first ones in that style and it was very good if I do say so my self not to toot my own horn. I liked it...ok...sorry ... but Geoff had along the way put it down for 50 dollars and I was disappointed that the but hole put it down but then again that was at first.... I also changed the price on his price sheets cause he didn't keep my tags ...which is usual...but that being said he is bad ass.... he put it at a price that could be sold and that is the most important part... so that was bad ass to have the two the morning and then get back to Columbus and have another sale here...
Then I went to the show over at Travonna cant spell it....and that was cool a nice mix of styles and Whitney was dressed up more than usual. She did here hair up and it was looking very nice. She is very hextic at the shows.. kind of worried about what I dont know cause she is bad ass as well ...it was going good. I bought a pin from Bob he makes shirts ,websites,and pins I guess...which is cool. We have been talking about the couple of websites that I want of which he makes for free...cause he makes money off his websites I guess and shirts and stuff...he has made more than 30 so that is cool. anyway I then talked to Stuard..I think is his name and I was looking at his drawings and he had this book...I bought one cause he is simply a seriously bad ass illustrator. I also was looking at one and I knew it ....so he was like ...well we had a show at Franklinton go west show....it was my second show I think ...and I think he should make shirts...its kind of like reminds me of metal shirts for metal bands.... but so then I hung out with the artist there and then went back to the show at 83 and it was a good night. I had finished the payments two payments for the Chris Chropper piece that I had seen so many shows and loved....I have it now..it really is bad ass...x 10 might have to collect some more of his stuff cause he rocks... anyway I also met up with Melody who actually came to the show so that was cool.
So that was sunday the 4th? I had to go back to Cincinnati the next day to pic up the other piece that I didnt sell... which sucked... I did find out that it was two different people bought a piece...not two to one patron...that sucks cause they dont hold info on sold pieces....so I am like that sucks....I have barely shown in Cinnci that one time and it would be interesting to email them and thank them..but since I dont know there email ..if you are reading this and it was you then hit me up ...my email is artofarlomoon@yahoo.com anyway that sucks having to drive there...and I found out that they will send your money only 30-45 days... after the show...so it sucked but then it was cool to invest...I look at it like that.. the only problem ...I got backand later that week they denied my pieces....so I had to go back ...they wanted that wednesday but I was like hell no So hasn't been much of any thing this week.... I worked on pieces but the money was gone very quick and no ot this week...well on friday... I had 4 hours...so that is cool.... but christmas is looming... but I did get in contact with the gallery in Cleveland that Joss Parker told me about a long time ago...So in a day they were like ok what are the sizes and since I had those pieces at Core fitness I had to contact them and I had to break that show down anyway. It has been a hastle to get to them so its been a few days to get back to the POP shop gallery..its sucks... but that is ...it
I have been working on a mixed media piece and it has been crazy I .talk later about it ...next blog cause I am getting tired typing so much...
